Every four years there comes a time to prove yourself as a warrior, a fighter, as a hero, a champion. That time is nearing, that time is called the Olympics.
In honor of these Olympics, the Shire of Crystal Crags is holding a day of games, challenges and festivities that will have a Scottish Games theme, with different challenges to prove your worthiness. The Scottish Games came about when England dominated Scotland and forbade the people to train with any combat items, and the Games gave people an opportunity to pit themselves against each other.
To mix things up, upon your arrival you will be assigned to a team that represents a different country. As the day proceeds there will be many chances for you to shine, with events ranging from the caber toss, discus and javelin throws, and maybe even a sheep toss and far too many more to mention. Never forgetting this event is our Shire Arts & Sciences Championship, there is a special theme to A&S entries these Games: HEROES! Be it a ballad, a sculpture of a warrior, or clothing fit for an Olympic Champion, enter it for a chance to become our A&S Champion.
So train long and hard, work on those A&S entries, and come have tons of fun!

LOCATION:
286 Trap Road or many of you know it as Castle Silveroak

DIRECTIONS:
Take your best route to the intersection of MT Hwy 2 and MT Hwy 93. Head east on Hwy 2 (stay in the right hand lane) which will turn into MT Hwy 35. Continue on Hwy 35 to Hwy 206 (approx 7 miles) and turn left (north). Continue north to Trap Road. Turn left on Trap Road and look for the signs.

All merchants are welcome with no merchant fee but a small donation to the auction is appreciated..

FEAST FEE:
Light lunch and soup kitchen dinner provided during the day of the 17th for a charge of $5.00 per person that can be paid at troll
