Shire of Crystal Crags
Gallow Games - May 15th
Spring Time in the Bavarian Alps is one of the most beautiful events in the world.
Come join us in our version of this celebration during the Shire of Crystal Crags' Gallow Games event. Don your Lederhosen or Dirndl and come dance around a maypole among the Edelweiss blooms with old or new friends. Join in our various games throughout the day. Later, join us for a traditional Bavarian feast and toast the coming spring.
Gallow Games is also our Shire A&S championship and our Shire archery championship. Come make your challenge to claim either or both of these championships.
Merchants are more than welcome and there is no merchant fee, but please donate an item for our auction.
Site: The Stillwater Grange Hall, 1810 West Reserve Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901
Site is discreetly wet, period containers only, and sorry but no pets.
Site opens at 11:00am and closes at 11:00pm.
Site fee is $9 for the day (includes light lunch); there will be a $3 discount for showing a current membership card. Children 6-12 are half price, under 6 are free!
Feast Fee will be $7 for adults and $5 for children 6-12. Children 6 and under are free. Deadline for Feast Reservations May 8th. Feast is limited to 50 people.
To get to the site:
From the South: Take best route to Kalispell MT, take Hwy 93 north till you approach the intersection of Hwy 93 and Reserve. Turn West on to Reserve Street for about 2 miles. The site will be on the Left hand side of the road.
From the north: Take Hwy 93 South from Whitefish, about 11 miles, turn right on to Reserve Street for about 2 miles. Look for signs.
